Overview

The National Workplace Initiative (NWI) was announced in the 2019 Federal Budget with funding of $11.5 million over four years provided to the National Mental Health Commission (NMHC) for the project.

The NMHC is working collaboratively with the Mentally Healthy Workplace Alliance to deliver the National Workplace Initiative which aims to provide a nationally consistent approach to workplace mental health, identifying ways to support all people in all workplaces to take action to be mentally healthy.

Why We Are Consulting

The Employee Assistance Professionals Association of Australasia is an important stakeholder and valued informant for the NWI.

At this early stage of consultation and co-design, the following questions are intended to open up a communications channel between EAPAA members and the project team.

Any input EAPAA members are able to provide is greatly appreciated.

What Happens Next

The NWI team at the National Mental Health Commission will analyse the results and report back to the Employee Assistance Professionals Association of Australasia.
