The National Children's Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy

Closed 15 Feb 2021

Opened 16 Dec 2020

The draft National Children's Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy (the Strategy) provides a framework to guide critical investment in the mental health and wellbeing of children and families.

We are now seeking your feedback before the Strategy is finalised. There is nothing that will have more impact on improved mental health outcomes for all Australians than early intervention, and so it is critical that Australians have the opportunity to provide their views on the approach and actions proposed by the Strategy.

We would really appreciate your input on this draft before 15 February 2021. The feedback received will be considered as part of finalising the Strategy.

If you would like to be notified when the Strategy is published, please provide your email address as prompted by the survey.

A copy of the draft Strategy and the questions contained in this survey are available under the Related section on this page below.

What happens next

Now that the consultation period has ended, the Strategy will be finalised with amendments from the feedback provided. The Strategy will be published in 2021.
